I tried setting this up it was a pain. The wording made it sound like installation would be quick and simple, but that was misleading. The steps didn’t even match what I was seeing on my screen, and it kept asking for permissions over and over. I ended up wasting way too much time and still couldn’t get it working properly. Not impressed

I used Eltima for a small file and remote device kind of thing, and it worked okay for me. The setup was not too hard, like I got through it without much fighting with it.

The part that made me pause a little is the security and privacy side. The permissions and what happens with data are explained, but also not really explained in a way my brain liked. Some pages felt kind of vague about what gets collected and why.

Nothing weird happened while I used it, so I’m not saying it’s bad or anything. I just would feel better if the privacy details were more plain words and the update/security notes were more obvious. So yeah, kind of a middle rating from me

I ran into a problem with one of their apps and ended up messaging support about it. They did get back to me, but yeah, it took a bit — I think it was a couple of days before I heard anything.
The reply was helpful once it came through, and they did sort out what I needed, so no complaints there. I just wish the response time was a little quicker, especially when you’re kind of stuck waiting around.

I’ve been using it for streaming and, for the most part, it works well. The playback is usually smooth, so I can watch without constantly having to pause or restart anything, which is really the main thing I care about. Every once in a while, though, it does buffer for a bit, especially when I’m in the middle of watching something and don’t really want to be interrupted. It’s not happening all the time or anything, and it hasn’t been bad enough to make me stop using it, but it is noticeable when it pops up. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid experience with just a few small hiccups.

I used eltima.com for some software I needed on my Mac, and overall it went smoothly. I’m usually a bit cautious about installing new apps, especially if I’m not 100% sure they’ll match my system version, but this one lined up fine and didn’t give me any real trouble.

I also tested it on an older Windows laptop just to be safe, and it still ran okay there too. It was definitely a little slower on that machine, but not in a way that made it unusable or worrying.

I’m giving it 4 stars because the compatibility was mostly solid, but I did feel like I needed to read through a few support pages first before I felt comfortable installing it. Once I did that, everything worked as expected.

I bought a license, but getting it activated has been way more frustrating than I expected. It kept failing, and support has been slow to respond, so I still can’t actually use the app on my machine. I've moved a bunch of files with it and so far every transfer has gone through fine. No errors, no weird stops, nothing. It just does what I need and then I'm done.

I’ve been using software from Eltima Software for a while now, and overall it gets the job done for what I need. The main thing that’s been frustrating is the updates. Sometimes they go through with no problem, but other times something random breaks or I end up having to reinstall just to get things working again. Support has been okay, but not especially quick in my experience. It’s not a bad product at all, I just wish updating didn’t feel like a small gamble every time. Has anyone else run into this?

I don’t think it’s worth the price. It seems okay at first, but I’m not really convinced the quality matches what they’re charging

Am I the only one who found the setup way harder than it needed to be? I tried following the docs, but they felt outdated and confusing. I ended up guessing through half the steps, it just didn’t feel worth the hassle
